Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BizcardHub Android application (“App”) provided by i-Hub (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
BizcardHub helps you capture business cards, extract contact information using on-device optical character recognition (OCR), review and edit that information, and save contacts to your device or, if you choose, to Google Contacts after signing in with Google.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and comply with Google Play’s terms and applicable law. The App is intended for general business and personal networking use.
3. Accounts and Google features
You can use core scanning and phone-save features without a Google account. Optional Google Sign-In and Google Contacts features are provided through Google services. Your use of those features is also subject to Google’s terms and policies. You are responsible for activity under your Google account when you authorize the App.
4. Your content and responsibilities
- You are responsible for the photos and contact data you process with the App.
- You must have the right to scan, store, and use the contact information you capture.
- You must not use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- OCR and parsing may be imperfect; you should review extracted fields before saving.
5. Privacy
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by i-Hub or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App as distributed through Google Play, subject to these Terms.
7. Third-party services
The App may rely on third-party components and services (for example Google Play services, Google ML Kit, and Google People API). We are not responsible for those services’ availability, changes, or policies beyond our control.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, i-Hub disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that OCR results will be complete, accurate, or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, i-Hub will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero if the App was free).
10. Changes and termination
We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or discontinue the App or features. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where i-Hub operates the App listing, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
